Alex Jin
Incoming UCLA M.S. · Embedded Linux · Sensing Systems
Hello, I am Alex Jin, an incoming M.S. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UCLA and a recent Computer Engineering graduate from UIUC.
I build software close to hardware: event-driven embedded Linux applications, wireless sensing systems, and reliable data-acquisition pipelines. I am especially interested in how system architecture, concurrency, and communication protocols affect the correctness of real devices.
For Fall 2026, I am seeking research opportunities in embedded and cyber-physical systems, mobile or health sensing, edge systems, and dependable device software.
This website collects selected engineering projects and technical notes, with an emphasis on the problem, my contribution, and measured results.
